Campaign Rules

I will add more detail later, but for now, here are a couple of items I will be using in the campaign:

1. Die Rolling: If, when rolling, more than one die, some number of dice less than the total number you are rolling fall onto the floor or off the playing surface, you re-roll only that/those die/dice that fall off the playing surface. If you choose to re-roll all dice, you need to make that choice at the beginning of the campaign.

2. Critical Hit deck: I will provide this. Generic monsters and generic NPCs will never draw from this deck. Unique or significant monsters or NPCs will be treated as PCs and will be able to use this deck under the same rules as the PCs. (Updated July 31, 2014)

3. Critical Fumble Deck: I will provide this. Generic monsters and generic NPCs will never draw from this deck. Unique or significant monsters or NPCs will be treated as PCs and will be able to use this deck under the same rules as the PCs. (Updated July 31, 2014)

4. Plot Twist Deck: I will provide this.

5. Monster/NPC Deaths: When a generic monster or generic NPC falls below 0 hit points, it is dead, unless you specify during the attack that you are doing non-lethal damage (which typically imparts a penalty to the attack roll.) When a unique or significant monster, or unique or significant NPC falls below 0 hit points, they will be treated as PCs – that is, they are dying, will be forced to make stabilization checks, etc. (Updated July 31, 2014)
